‘The Natural Cause of Things’ is part of Rabbit’s Wearables Series 2. This series explores the ‘obvious’ and how one can bring about a new awareness to what is already in existence / could happen ‘naturally’.
For example, consider joining many short sleeves to form a long sleeve, or lengthening inner pockets so that they are exposed, or folding up a T-shirt that is too long to form all-round pockets or even how zips affect the way a T-shirt is folded.
These are some of the ideas that arose by looking at things that are already in existence, as opposed to designing something entirely new.
