The Design Society
2009–2012
The Design Society Journal is a biannual magazine which aims to archive and discuss Singaporean graphic design as a form of visual culture.
Conceptualised by H55, the inside pages are influenced by the idea of newspaper clippings and photocopied archival material. With that in mind, the Journal juxtaposes an orderly newsprint grid design (with clear bold headlines for ease of navigation) with the occasional random ‘cutting-and-pasting’ of text and images.
