National Gallery Singapore
2014
The upcoming Keppel Centre for Art Education at the National Gallery Singapore will be the first dedicated art facility of its kind in Singapore and the region, and will offer an environment that aims to stimulate children’s creativity and curiosity.
The Keppel Center needed an informative publication to reach out to its target audience, future collaborators and stakeholders while its interior design was still in its planning stages.
The solution was to use pictograms/illustrations to represent the future unbuilt spaces, as opposed to showing inaccurate artist impressions of the art facilities. The overall look and feel of the illustrations not only functioned as visual narratives for the booklet, but provided visual branding for the Keppel Centre as well.
