An initiative funded by the wife of the late President of Singapore, Ong Teng Cheong, the Ong Siew May Distinguished Lecture Series was held at the NUS School of Architecture and consisted of invited speakers and architects from around the world.
H55’s logo design for the Lecture Series is derived from the letter ‘O’ in ‘Ong Siew May’. This basic structure acts as an empty and open ‘container’, ready to embrace the identities of various guest lecturers who rightfully make up the totality of the lecture series’ identity. Inspired by company common seals and old library rubber stamps, the overall logo changes dynamically based on the content provider for each lecture.
