H55’s postcard design for fashion label Song+Kelly21’s spring-summer collection is an appropriation of their existing sky-blue-graduation identity (which were commonly seen on their paper bags). By recreating a sunshine yellow version to complement its sky blue counterpart, the postcard suggests the herald of the new season.
Interestingly, when the cards are being removed from a stack at the boutique, the sunny yellow is reflected onto the sky blue, allowing the customer a split-second glimpse of a newly formed abstraction.
